Diaphragm Valve

Diaphragm Valve

In dust collection, the purpose of a diaphragm valve is to regulate the airflow through the filters to optimize cleaning. Diaphragm valves create a pulse of air which dislodges any dirt and dust on the outside of a filter so that debris can be collected and discarded.

These valves are used on many different types of dust collection systems and in industries and applications. Typical uses for them include:

  • Mining
  • Chemical processing facilities
  • Woodworking shops
  • Food processing plants
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing systems
  • Power generation stations
  • Cement plants
  • Recycling plants
